At the moment, no. I established this practice in early 2026 and hope to expand to in person services in the future but that timeline is not yet clear.

Here’s what I tell all potential clients. Yes—if the only way you can do therapy is truly once every two weeks, I would rather meet you there than not at all. That being said, for both of us, building a strong foundation for lasting and meaningful changes necessitates a frequency of meeting, especially at the start. Starting weekly and shifting to bi-weekly down the road is much more conducive to establishing trust, safety, and the momentum necessary for change.

Absolutely, and if I’m not the right person, I will be transparent with you and provide a mindful referral. In addition to the specialities listed on the website, I work with a range of concerns—anxiety, depression, OCD, identity issues, substance abuse, life transitions, grief, self esteem, Internet addiction, and porn use.

Yes, my practice is queer-affirming and aligned. I’m experienced providing individual and couples therapy to folks in the LGBTQIA+ community. Questioning, queer adjacent, or curious? You are also welcome!

Coaching is more oriented to making concrete changes in the present. Increasing understanding of oneself comes with the territory, but we will not be processing trauma
Coaching is often more directive and short term. While as little as one session may be beneficial, I’d encourage anyone interested in coaching to make a minimum commitment of four sessions
I cannot bill insurance for coaching, please see the Insurance and Fees page for rates
My license to practice therapy is tied to Illinois. If you live outside of the state and are interested in coaching services, please reach out to discuss goodness of fit.

Yes, absolutely. The patriarchy is cruel, dehumanizing, and hurting all of us. I’m a cis-white man in the never-ending process of unlearning and evolving. I’ve been told that I bring warmth and gentleness that makes people feel safe and I do my best to practice from a place of humility and awareness. If you are hesitant to reach out, I’d say…
1) Please do if you feel moved. I’d be happy to meet with you and let you feel out if I’m a person you could trust and feel safe with and
2) If my approach appeals to you but I’m not the person you’d like to do it with, I’d be happy to point you in the direction of someone else who might be. Don’t hesitate to reach out.
